===================

Artists of the computer, of the digital software, of the graphic tablet, or of the mouse; I have a challenge for you.

There has been a debate that, if you use digital media for your art, it means you do not have any skill.

Why? Because, oh, so simply; edit buttons, and CRTL-Z.

When you use traditional media, it is oh so messy, yet if you are skilled, and if you make a mistake, you can try to improvise to make the error look as though it is a deliberate part of the artwork and so on.

When you use digital media, when you are finished with the colours, you can edit it until your hearts content. You can also sketch a million lines and CTRL-Z it until you draw the one perfect brush stroke.

So here is the challenge: Create a new piece of artwork without using CTRL-Z, or editing it. That means no colour changes, no layer changes, no cropping, no switching, or cutting and pasting.
This is to challenge yourself. To see the creative, improvising side of your mind.
So if you make a mistake.. just colour over it. You're an artist, aren't you? I'm sure you'll find some way.

If you try this challenge and end-up editing, and complete the artwork, you are only cheating yourself.

Remember, to err is Human.

Also, if you think something like this is impossible, just think about the traditional media painters and their massive canvases.

Hi. I'm the guy you don't remember, coming back to life after what has probably been a few years since I last visited dA.

I don't know if I remember you, either...?

Oh yeah, and uhmn, I'm not sure how it was you knew me again.

Mostly through BZP. I was Vurage Lo Kyo/Akiro?

Friends with Astro Al.

Yeah, I definitely remember you now. I looked through my comment history. How's it going?

OHHH really!? did you ever find a solution? i also thought about that huge clear packing tape you could probably overlay on top of the entire backing of your book.. not sure if it would slide a lot or not.
